I graduated from The George Washington University's prestigious School of Media and Public Affairs in 2011 with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications. After freelancing full-time, I realized that my passion for local small businesses and makers ran deeper than telling stories I didn't feel connected to, so I switched gears and began working in food and retail.

I now freelance occasionally, and continue using my writing skills to tell the stories of the people I engage with on a daily basis. You can find some of my writing below.
